Guild Merger

So some guy contacted me today. I forget his name, but I think it was Rashund or something similar.

Anyways, he leads a small guild, and is interested in merging with RID. The guild has roughly 25 members, with at least 6 of them being active. He says they are a close-knit, mature organization, with members in the 25 year old range more or less. He and his members want to merge with a larger, more established guild so that they can have more options for heroics and PvP. They're looking for a sort of "casual" play-style with interests in different facets of the game.

They lead a Level 2 Village on Dantooine. I forget the name, but it's like Bloodsabre or something. I told they they are more than free to continue running it, but that any other RID city, such as Fort Nar Shadda would be more than willing to accomodate them after a merge.

I gave him the names of our Council members so that he could get to know you guys better. I plan on meeting him in person tomorrow so that he can give me a tour of his city.

So if anyone has anything to add about this, feel free to do so!

I met with Rushton earlier this evening. Very nice guy, Elder Jedi. The PA is the Lost Prophets from Wanderhome. They have a city in east central Dant named Sageblade. They only have 4-6 active members, but he's really the only regular one. If he's a reflection of the rest of his PA, these could be some really good guys. In fact, his PA is the smaller, more mature faction of a messy guild split back on Wanderhome. And, he's the youngest member at 26.

Because they are such a close-knit group, I decided that making them all apply for membership separately would be unnecessary. The one thing they don't tolerate is drama. So, I figure we can do a rolling admission with them.

Also, I did make it clear that while he's leader now, we currently do not have any openings for new Councilmen. And he was fine with it as he was looking forward to not have to worry about any responsibilities for a while.

Well it's a good news. The only fact I can say is that: in the past we tried some merge and we finally finished to be a spare wheel. I mean they left for another PA. I would be more than pleased to welcome new recruits but we have to be sure their "guild lines" are the same as ours.

If they wanna move into FNS I'll be happy to set them up. :)
