Well Daiho...

Well Daiho, it looks like it's just you on the Council.

I know this seems like disturbing news, but Bovive, Arramen, Ahasya and their alts have left RID.

I would be really sad to see you go too.

Basically, this is the story.

Bovive said something during a base bust which included the word "apparently." Urkon pointed out how Bovive emphasized the word, and told him to use "surely" instead -- because "apparently" has a different connotation in french.

Bovive thought Urkon was trying to insult him, and so he told Urkon, "go learn english." Urkon replied, "why don't you learn a second language before insulting my english."

Bovive and his alts left, followed by his close friend Arramen. Sadly, Ahasya feeling that they were her only two friends in RID, left as well. It was a messy train reaction.

Urkon has no idea why Bovive took offense to him. He was genuinely apologetic to me, and did not mean to be insulting. He feels really bad. I'd like to think that we could get Bovive, Arramen and Ahasya back in RID, but I'm not sure how likely that'd be.

I implore of you to remain with RID, and help make us stronger Daiho. We'll find 3 new Council members and move forward.

After thinking about it for a bit, I'm still pretty upset about it all went down. I dont even think Bovive, Arramen or Ahasya even know why they left.

My bet is they will be joining ISOC now... but who knows.

Ahasya leaving upset me the most I think. She assured me that she would not be leaving RID, and that she looked forward to organizing the weekly events to help our guild.

Oh well, I guess that's life.

I don't understand what this incident has to with the guild. :?: I get the impression this was a pick-up group.

Well Urkon is a RID member. He and Bovive were talking during a base bust.

Ah, well, maybe it would be best if Bo and Arra find another guild because they've done this before. Last time this happened it was due to a fall-out and now it's happened again.

Don't worry Lexx I'm by your side. I'll talk to you in-game later tonight if I see you.

Well that's good to hear :P

I look forward to speaking you in-game whenever we both are online.

The good news is we've got a number of promising recruits submitting their application to the guild, so this troubling time in RID should come to pass.

It's no different than when Barney was in RID last year, made lots of friends within the guild and then left.

Agreed. Games are supposed to be fun. We deal with enough shit in reality and games should be an escape from all that.

Yeah, I mean that is the overall purpose.

Would be nice if people could just relax, take it easy and have fun. If someone rubs you the wrong way, just log off -- since the game stops being fun.

But I guess human nature remains the same in virtual worlds unfortunately
