Ok, now that is over with lol. My primay IGNs are Bovive, Verantis and Jobo. I'm on the Executive Council for RID (Regal Imperial Defenders) which accepts Imps and neutral parties. Our guild leader is Lexx Yovel, who has been RID's guild leader since it was created over 5 years ago. We are a small-medium sized guild and we do run a lot of heroics. Personally, I usually form up the heroic groups. I usually run at least 4 per night and have done EK successfully over 10 times (I just started doing EK about a month ago). We also have several (more than 5, cannot remember the exact number) cities that are run by us across several planets and we welcome new cities into our guild. We are allied with SUNDER and SR and work with SR and EE to run the tue/wed night Imp Base Busts (Yup, that's me spamming you with weekly BB mails lol). We also have many good crafters (usually our alts) that make stuff very cheap or even for free for active guild members. We also hold a few events and do random things like run the Corvette or DWB to mix things up. We do have an RP side but that isn't very big. Anyways I would like to talk to you about a possible merge and perhaps get to know each other before making any kind of commitment. I appreciate your consideration for RID and look forward to hearing back from you either via this board or in-game!

Works for me. I'll be at work and possibly arramen will log bovive in if I am unable to do so. I did tell him however that he could contact you directly if he liked. Oh, and I told him we would be at the Base Bust.

The only problem I see with a 'merge' is that they might get the impression that we're a confederation, in which they can join and have a voice in how we operate, i.e. their leaders become leaders here, etc. Rather, we should request that they dissolve, and apply for RID membership separately.

Although, I do have it say it excites me that they live on Talus already. I would recommend to Lexx and the Council that we encourage them to move into an RID city, as we are already past the point of sustainability for our cities, and 5/1 is only going to make this more evident.

Yeah, the concerns you speak of were things I am wondering about too, though I'll see what kind of impression they give me when I meet up with them.

I wouldn't want to do a guild name change, or drastic change in leadership to suit them. Though I'll see what kind of things they're looking for.

Yah I'm not sure, hence the meet and greet. I think they just want their cities and member to join one guild because they are tired or unable to run their own anymore.

Did either of you two have a chance to meet with them?

A little update on this. I met with Owebb in-game and they have 7 members in their guild. There are only three actives ones however being him, his wife and someone else. Basically he is just looking to disband his guild and join ours, with possibly 3 more when they return to the game. He seems like very good people and I'm sure his wife is too. Doesn't look like it will be much more than a standard recruitment.

Okay, I spoke to him a bit yesterday too. I wanted to meet with him at 7, but couldn't.

If we can get the merge handled today, that can be arranged.

I like the idea of him disbanding his current guild and joining ours rather than a merger.
