RID - The Refuge

For those of you that can remember, RID toyed with the notion of having an "RP Division", focused around Stormtroopers. Well, it's come to my attention that several members (about seven) from the Dark Jedi PA RUIN. They left because RUIN's leader, Jrax, attempted to control them OOCly. I requested that they still apply for membership. The one who contacted me, Sihivus, registered on the forums (as I type this) and will apply for membership as soon as she's approved.
On her behalf, I'd like to advocate that RID recognize their RP as part of the RID. They'll still abide by all the rules and regulations. I explained to her that RID is a non-RP PA, so even if the Lexx and Council decline to recognize their RP, they may still RP on their own, but it wouldn't be recognized. Recognition is defined as RID allowing them to RP freely within the guild and not be hassled for it.
I know that probably sounds contradictory, and I'm sure it is, but the bottom line is that Sihivus is a personal friend of mine, her PA is treating her and her friends like crap, and I'd like to welcome to RID, even thought they're RPers.

Uber lame. I always thought of us as a mixed guild and not necessarily non-rp. I would be happy to welcome them all to RID. If anyone is going to organize an RP division or head up the RP events obviously that job best suits you Arev. Who knows, maybe I'll even get into it a little bit now and then. I will say this, anyone that hassles RP members of RID in any manner shall deal with Lexx (The kliknik, he has sharp claws).

Billie-joe was talking to me yesterday (or maybe it was two nights ago), if we'd have any RP events w/story teller props formed. I told him we didn't have anything specific planned, but that we could work with you to get some things going.
I agree, if anyone should get an RP division going, it should be you. And we can help out however necessary. From a guild point of view, it'll make us more active and communicative, so it doesn't hurt to get all types of play-styles involved.

I used to RP when i first started and had a lot of fun doing it. But its all about finding the right group to do it with. That being said Lets welcome them aboard with open arms and see where it takes us. Its kinda of like getting back to server roots, this was primarily a RP Server back in the day,

By the way, be mindful what you say around Sihivus. She's legally deaf and has, what some believe to be, a personality disorder. She's not dangerous, she can just act 'goofy' at times, but then act like nothing ever happened the next day.

Being dangerous or not doesn't matter too much. I'll let murderers in RID, they can't kill me through the interwebz!
