Gentlemen,

First, I wish to extend a warm thank you for nominating me to this position. I am honored and I will give 120%.

I have a few suggestions that I'd like to share with you all.

Recruitment: This is the bread and butter of any guild, a guild lives and dies with this. Good members can bring a guild amazing things, while bad members can ruin one entirely. Our current recruitment guidelines are well defined and there's no need to change, just some adds.

* One week probation under sponsorship. This is to protect the guild and it's assets from golddiggers, questionable players and the like. This gives us and the potential recruit time to interact and discover if it's a good fit.

* A blacklist of known trouble makers who join and routinley get themselves removed from guilds. This would be updated.

* What classes does R.I.D need more of?

* What can we do to boost R.I.Ds appeal to female gamers? This one isn't THAT important, but I'm throwing it out there.

Platform: The council draws up a platform of what we want to accomplish and how we think we can go about doing it. Included would be the biggest issues and possible solutions. When complete, we submit to the rest of the guild for feedback. Yes, this is quite politik, but useful.

That's what I got for now. Be gentle. :D

Cor signing off.

It would be you that wants to target recruiting more females, hah! You make some good points and I agree with the black list and 1 week prob period. How is that recruitment video coming along?

Haha, I'm working on the recruitment video, I promise :P

I hope to get it released by Fort Oasis' fifth year anniversary. I was hoping to get it done way earlier, but now that I have finals, I figured I may as well redo some scenes on my good computer when I return home on the 10th.

Anyways, good suggestions Corvallon. I'm just not too sure about the probationary period. I think instead of that, we should require the member to come along with us on at least one guild activity.

Since we now require forum registration, that also ensures they are more determined to join RID than many other members. I definitely agree with compiling a blacklist. There have been many times where we've recruited member, and never knew their true backstory. Some caused drama on other servers, or this one. Some are guild-hoppers, some are beggers, some are same faction hunters. So it helps to get a blacklist together, and see if any applicants match anyone on the list.

A list of what classes RID needs most of can be put together as well. We can place professions in order of most needed, and use that as a guideline for who to recruit, and maybe even recruit lower leveled members who are of a needed profession.

Hehe, yep, appealing to female gamers is an important step too. Helps to have some diversity there. I think to appeal in that regard, we need to appeal to the entertainment aspects some more. I hate to stereotype, but must of the females who place this game are entertainers. Maybe -Mercedes- and Jamelica can spearhead a female recruitment campaign

And yeah, forming up a platform of what we want to accomplish is definitely needed as well.

PS: Executive Council Members will get their own uniforms soon, but they'll probably still be red/black :P

Was thinking either the Double Robe or Robe of Honor in silver and black.

I use this to design and view clothing before I buy.
