I am writing this to you first, but I will soon be notifying the rest of RID, via the public forums and in-game e-mail.
Long story short, I am leaving for Spring break on a trip with the family this Friday. I will be away, starting from Saturday, for a week. During that week, my internet access will likely be extremely limited due to the costs involved during my trip. I probably will not be logging on, but I will likely get a chance to check up on the forums here for any developments.
In light of this, you folks (the Council) will oversee things while I'm away. This means you folks, as in Arev, Ramd and Red-dawn. I will be giving Arev and Ramd guild removal abilities, only to be used in emergencies, and not without consultation with other Council members. Sorry Red, I don't mean to exclude you by not giving you this ability, but I have to give it to some people, and I figured just giving it to two people would be sufficient.
Anyways, I do have some regrets about not getting enough done this week. This includes appointing a new Council member -- such as either Tuskano or Apauck, or making progress in RID's recruitment video.
I also have regrets (and this is mostly aimed towards you Ramd), that I won't have time to foster our relationship with AO, and form a fishing event with them.
However, I'm confident RID will do just fine during my absence. You all have recruitment abilities, and can recruit at your own discretion. Since I won't be able to activate forum usernames, you'll have to send potential recruits an *in-game* application instead of referring them to the online one. I have written up an in-game application, and will send it to you all when I get the chance.
When it comes down to it though, it's only a week, and I have been away before for much longer. When I return, I only have a little over a month before this semester ends, and my long Summer break begins. Before then though, I will work hard with RID to build up this new Imperial network, find a new Council member, make that video, and do other things with the guild.
