Agenda of the 1st High Council Winter 2008

Post by Corvallon » Sat Dec 06, 2008 1:58 pm

OK, here we can discuss and plan our agenda. I'm going to throw out some things off the top of my head. I expect that I'm not spot on. Lexx, feel free to correct me. In no particular order yet.

Focus: Inter-guild grouping for individual and common goals.
    Focus: Increasing R.I.D's appeal
    Focus: Merchants
    Focus: Boosting guild cities.
    Focus: Regain PvP status
Focus: Guild Events ( I was thinking of creating some events and holding these on the same days each week. Something to look forward to. We'd release a Mon-Sun schedule that shows what's planned. )

    Sample schedule:
Mon- Basic Training- Members concentrate on normal progression of their characters.
Tues- Zero Gravity- Collective effort on space progression
Wen- Operation RID- GCW activities (PvE)
Thur- WAR! - PvP (For those that do)
Fri- Are you a hero?- Heroic instance grouping
    Sat- Free day
    Sun- Guild meeting

Again, all I got for now. Cor signing off.

Those seem like pretty good goals to aim for. I'll see if I can add anymore to the list, but for now, we should brainstorm on ways to fulfill the goals Corvallon posted.

Seams like a good list o goals earlier in the week I sent out guild mail asking the members what days would they like to see Heroics to be run on and what time I was going to give it another week for peeps to get back to me, so far I think i have received back about 8 responses, sometime this week I will get with you Corv and let you know who is interested and what their best times of play are.

I agree, no harm can come from letting them join on a probationary period. If they dont level up, or atleast ask us for help to level up they should be removed from the guild.

I agree, we do need more guild meetings. I really want to involve RID traders with Czerka Corporation. I know I can make them lotsa bling lol. Does anyone do good storytelling? That would rock!

When it come to the schedule, we can draw one up and send it out in-game and see how it goes. We seem to be in agreement so the next logical steps are prioritizing the agenda, and as Lexx stated, put our heads together on how to meet these goals.

Focus: Inter-guild grouping for individual and common goals.- We're working on this one already and have a fairly consistent group unless I muck it up by being pulled away. :D Focus: Increasing R.I.D's appeal-Advertising in as many mediums as possible such as SOE forums, Starsider Galaxy. Good time to utilize new recruitment vids.
Focus: Merchants - RID traders are encouraged to work in Bovive's company so we'll have a group of traders working together to meet the guilds needs. Focus: Boosting guild cities.- If newish members still need a home they can place and declare in cities that need residents like Nar Shadda. Advertising the cities as looking for residents.
Focus: Regain PvP status- We know what this requires.
Focus: Guild Events ( I was thinking of creating some events and holding these on the same days each week. Something to look forward to. We'd release a Mon-Sun schedule that shows what's planned. ) - I like the sample I laid out. Little something for everyone. May re-order though.

The guild meetings are important because they give us the chance to figure out who's who and keep the lines of communication open. We can be kept up to speed on where players are and where they want to be and use this time to make announcements or address issues.

/salute to our fallen and those who survived Pearl.

So, if we are in agreement, we can release this as the agenda and put together the first schedule.

Yep, if you haven't already Corv, we can make this schedule public, and discuss ways to complete each objective.

Oh snap! Thanks for the reminder Lexx. I did forget something. Will send out schedule in-game and post it here.
