Why did the name of this board change from "Officer's Lounge" to "Executive Lounge"? Did the actual structure of the RID leadership change or just the name?

Oh sorry, it was sent in-game which is why you were left out of the loop. Here is the basic rundown:

Lexx - Leader

Under Lexx is the Executive Board which consists of:
Bovive
Arramen
Tenvik
Corvallon

Everyone else is a regular member. Lexx changed the name from recruit to something else but I forget what it was, something that started with P......Peons?

But yes, basically the divisions were done away with and everything was consolidated.

Yes, I've sort of left you out of the loop hehe.

We figured that relying on divisions was too cumbersome, so we just went ahead and redid the guild into a council system, which is said to work better.

As Bovive said, the structure is three tiers:

1.) Leader (Me)
2.) Executive Council (Four Members)
3.) Proletariat (All other members)

The Executive Council consists of Arramen, Bovive, Tenvik and Corvallon.

I think Kurke and you still have access here because your administrator. That's fine though, doesn't hurt to have some added suggestions, though you may need to refrain from voting in any polls we set up here

It was a good concept, just lacked enough people to make it work properly. :cry:

Oh well, I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did. I'm curious how the new system is working for everyone. Does it make things a little more transparent and communication easier?

The division system will always be remembered, perhaps one day, it will return in some form

So far it's hard to say how the current system is working. It's only just been implemented, but hopefully we can work together to improve the guild's future.

And thanks for letting me keep access to these forums. I can say I visit every day, multiple times a day. I'd post more, but lately I've been enjoying my XBOX 360 and my new Samsung LN40A650 40" LCD TV way too much. hehehe
