Well, that sucks

I got the nasty Vista AntiMalware virus the other day. It was recommended that I do a System Restore. That helped the situation mostly. Then last night in Dearic, about 10 minutes into the building phase, I BSoD'd (first time in ages on my desktop). I selected the "Last Good Configuration" option. What do you know? Virus came back. I restarted Windows in Safe Mode, saved my files 'n stuff, etc. Reinstalled Vista. What else do you know? Drivers are being a pain to install now. Gah!
That's okay. At least I have my lappy. Updating Galaxies as we speak.

I think I can up you fix that. Is it the thing that says you need to scan your Computer, that you have a virus and stuff but it's actually malware? Or am I totally wrong?

Use ComboFix first:

Then use Malwarebytes:
http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-A ... ?tag=mncol
We use that combination all of the time at work and it usually does the job 95% of the time. You may have to run Malwarebytes a couple of times though.
After you get everything fixed, go and download Microsoft Security Essentials. It's free and is better than everything you will shell out money for.
