Gonna go see the new Batman movie tonight at the drive-in theater up the street. Pretty excited to go see it. Anyone else ognna go see it or has seen it already???

Yeah, the drive-in. You know, where you drive your car, park it infront of this big movie screen and watch the movie from your comfy bucket seats. A lot more fun than dealing with the movie theater crowds...

Tell me how it is. Some friends want to see it sunday, but I'm not sure if I want to spend the money.

It's friggin' awesome! It's a lot better than Batman Begins.

Lexx, why do you find it amusing they still exist? Have you ever been to one? It is a lot more enjoyable than sitting in a crowded movie theate with sticky floors. There's just something fun and special about a drive-in.

I didn't know they still existed either, but I'd love to go to one. Anyway, its an awesome movie and its just a shame to know that Heath Ledger died cause of the role that he nailed perfectly. It drags on a bit at the end but its still a great movie.

They are few and far betwen now, but if you EVER have the chance to see a movie at one, I highly recommend it. It is a lot of fun plus it's one of those pieces of Americana that is quickly falling by the wayside, experiance it while you can. I highly recommend bringing along a date though...you can get away with things there that you can't at a movie theater :roll:
