Hey everyone, I'm starting a series of threads to help us get to know each other a little better, not just as game players but as real people.

Here's a fun one that SHC forums had privately, pictures of what your computer area/desk looks like! I thought I'd try starting a thread for it here.

My desk is very messy. It is also at this time my kitchen table, my dressing table, etc etc. That picture is fully the length of the room I'm living in, minus 3 feet on the left where the hamsters, television, and door to the bathroom are. That's the north half of it, I had to crawl on my bed behind me and all the way up against the wall to get far enough away to take those pics.

R2 always lived on the floor by the foot of my bed until I vacuumed one day and plunked him on my desk then he just got buried there. He is not a Jonem droid! but he can hold a beer! I think it's cool you have one too Lexx, those were expensive and I remember buying him for myself on my last rich christmas heh.

I recently realized, being left handed, that the light was on the WRONG SIDE and moved it to the left.

The apple box now sleeps with the books and hair clips which keep crawling in my bed over each week.

I played the flute, used to perform in symphonic orchestras when I was younger. I recently pulled it out of storage and am starting all over again from the beginning, it's part of my daily routine, a little algebra every day, a little flute practice every day.

I was playing Jaws at the time the picture was taken. My PS2 is the only console game machine I have left, so it's my dvd player too. I have only a couple games left from the move, I was unable to save them so lost almost everything I owned. I have Jaws, DDR, a few Final Fantasies, um, Okage I think, um, a couple Need for Speeds. The games I play most often are Jaws and Dance Dance Revolution (with the playmat). Those are my "I hate all people and want to kill them" and "need to lose weight this is exercise right?" games.

I'm going to take some pictures tomorrow. I'll be sure to get a picture of my computer/space heater/airplane simulator in there also. (don't ask about those last two, you will see soon enough lol)

What I initially notice is that the two books perfectly placed in a place of honor beside your monitor are the Dictionary and The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy trilogy.

le GASP! Is that the infamous R2 from TMTOL? (The Miss-Tell Of Legend) O.O... I'm so jealous :wink:

Are those slinkies under your desk? Or are you just happy to see us?

yeah hamster tubes. I have two hamsters, and those are their balls and some extra tubes and shelves from their cages stuffed under there.

I will get picture of said beer when I get beer.

Um no, when I was talking about R2 that was a hypothetical discussion about a life sized REAL R2 not my little model one rofl.

Haha nice, my desk is pretty clean but thats just because all it really has on it is my POS computer.

You should try and get Guitar hero, thats really the only game I play on PS2
