How was graduation for some of you? I know a couple of you graduated so speak up. Lexx? Apium? I think...

I graduated too. I've been blowing up city blocks. And puppies, because I hate puppies.

Yep I graduated, it wasn't that exciting. This is the first time in my life that summer vacation has just sucked. Its really hit me now that school my school life will eventually end lol. I'm ready to move on to college.

That means right now you're a freshman. Get out, freshman are terrible people.

To think, I graduated in December with my Bachelor's degree and last August my fiance graduated with her Master's degree.

ahh, well enjoy your high school years. I won't say they are the best of four years of your life (or even that the education is worth four years of your life), but when the senior event (we do a slideshow with sad music) comes around you are going to wish you had taken advantage of every opportunity presented to you both socially and academically. Not to say that you aren't doing this already, but from my experience as a sophmore it felt like college was 10 years away and now here I am leaving for college in less than a month.

Lol sorry, that was almost as much for me as it was for you :)

Enjoy high school and college while you can. Go out and have fun, but do it responsibly too. Do it now, because once you graduate college (or just high school if you're not going to college) the real world starts.

So Kurke... which is more surprising? The fact that Mark Martin will be driving the 5 car full time next year or the fact that Tony Stewart is moving to Haas/CNC and buying half of it?

Well, first off I would say that nothing is official with Tony leaving Gibbs. I wouldn't be too surprised if he did (since he has a special place in his heart for Chevy apparently), but being a part owner of Haas/CNC seems like not only a step backwards, but a step off a big cliff. I've just never been too impressed with their performance. Admittedly, Tony could bring with him sponsorship dollars and could improve the management of the organization, but the Haas/CNC organization seems to be one of those teams that will always be an organization with its teams stuck between 20th and 40th in points.

Surprised? Possibly, but not as much as when Jr. went to Hendrick of all places (which I got a good chuckle out of).

As for Martin going to Hendrick. I'm not surprised at all. I don't think Martin ever learned what the term "retirement" means... "I'm retiring and going on a farewell tour, but I will still run a part-time schedule before going full-time for two more years before pulling this crap again." Right... Drive or don't drive. On the flipside, maybe he can finally show Hendrick that the 5 team needs some much needed love...

Go figure...

A few hours after I posted my last post, Stewart officially leaves Gibbs... Seems like my luck with stuff this week. Just ask Lexx.
