Hey Apium maybe you'll have luck in March, well actually April cause College basketball is screwed up like that.

Am I disappointed the Buckeyes lost? Yeah

Am I surprised? Nope

I kind of figured what was going to happen way back when they got lucky as hell during the last week of regular season football. I mean, I've seen the pussy teams they play during the first part of the year... Hell, I attended one of them (not that I'm saying YSU football is crap, but it isn't exactly 1-A material). Add on top of that the lack of a Big Ten playoff and 51 days between games and the ending was inevitable.

Just goes to show why a playoff system is needed even more now than ever. I mean, there are 32 bowl games and all of them mean squat. Seriously, did anybody here watch any more than six bowl games? I watched like two and a half. I watched Michigan show Florida that the SEC isn't as big and fast as everyone seems to think and the BCS game last night. I couldn't even tell you who the other teams were that I caught.

Why not make the bowl games mean something? If you're gonna have 64 teams playing during December and January, make it productive. Then again, watching a team with more losses than wins play in a bowl game makes me want to puke...

Would OSU have made it to the BCS game with a playoff system in place? No, but the BCS game would have been a hell of a lot better than what it was if there was a playoff system. Of course, since the game didn't start until 8:30PM on a Monday night, no one would have made it past the first half even if it was USC vs. LSU or Georgia vs. Virginia Tech...

Hey Tele since you seem to be really good at Guitar Hero could you explain the whole hammer on and pull offs stuff to me. I've gotten as far as I think I can without using and the tutorial didn't help.

Alright, basically hammer on and pull off notes don't have a black ring on them, making them look almost completely white. To start the HOs/POs, you need to strum the first note. The rest of the notes don't have to be strummed, but if you miss one, you have to strum to start the chain again.

Anyone plan on seeing Cloverfield?

I saw it tonight. I thought the experience was refreshing. The "first-person" view really intensified the action as well as the emotional parts. The character's were very real; no superheroes. Its worth the money to see it in the theatre.

I'd like to. But with my lady working evening shifts, it's gonna be a pain to try to get out to see it...

Yeah and I'm even more broke than usual and it doesn't look as if I'm gonna come up with any ways to get money anytime soon. It does look pretty good though.

This is probably the first movie that has really made me wish I lived near an IMAX theatre.

I'll be seeing it some time this weekend. Fortunately, I live around 5 minutes away from King of Prussia, aka the 2nd? biggest mall in the world, where they have all sorts of imax and super tv such and such.
