they weren't ported. Square built some Final Fantasies outside of the main series exclusively for the xbox and the DS. I think they are called the Crystal Chronicles or something along those lines.

Yeah the DS has Final Fantasy III which is a remake of the japanese NES version of the game we never got to play and also they're doing a 3D remake of Final Fantasy IV on the DS. FF Crystal Chronicles was released on the Gamecube and sucked but they're doing a sequel on the Wii which is supposed to be much better since they're redesigning the game from the ground up.

I'm assuming you are refering to Final Fantasy XI. I actually didn't know it was on the 360. Square developed it for the PC actually. It was released on the ps2 about a year later and I guess it is now on the 360.

Yeah, it's been on the 360 for almost a year I think. But it was never very popular because you had to pay the MMO fee on top of the Xbox Live fee. Talk about pocketbook abuse...
