Fort Oasis Hangar

Hey all,

Just wanted to announce that a hangar has been established near the ATAT in Fort Oasis. Unfortunately, due to terrain issues, it is kept kinda far away from the city.

Fortunately, it'll act as a sort of spaceport. The owner want the ITV inside to lead to the shop, but we will be sending him a waypoint to set up another location for us. Like a buff house or something.

Oh duh. Well no that's ok. I think the hangar has a pretty friggen big footprint, so I would question whether it would even fit where the sandcrawler is.

What I'm going to do is just put a "sign" right next to the shuttleport, which directs travellers to the spaceport. It'll have the waypoint in the name and all.

But, if it's any consolation:

The new Hangar will be the 'official' home to Regal Squadron. Visually, it will have TIE Fighters, TIE Interceptors and one TIE/x1. Kai'lek, Farik, and Rhiana are assisting in decorating it. Source

Yeah, spoke to him about it.

Shame to see him feel that way about Fort Oasis, but glad to see it being put to good use, and I think he'd make a great addition to RID.

Still, if anyone finds someone willing to set-up a spaceport-hangar in Fort Oasis, that'd be great. I really want to see Fort Oasis prosper, and not be neglected.

Of course holding events in the city could go a long way.

Why not hold some cantina nights or fishing events in FO? I agree, I don't want to see it neglected, either.

Well I'm copying Red-dawn and doing monthly newsletters. Lets just hope I consistently send them!

I'll try getting it touch with some entertainment guilds. I'm also getting in touch with Aytekin of Sarlacc City to forge a closer alliance with one another.

Hey Lexx, for the entertainment thing, I have a suggestion. Some old friends, tell them Red sent you from RID. Names are shaderia, harehsa, nrain, asherah, couple others I don't know by heart. One is brighidlyn or somethings like that. Guild name is ECU or Entertainer and Crafters union of Calaban. To search just type /who calaban. Hope this helps ya.

I haven't seen ECU around for ages. They used to hang around Theed, if I recall, but I haven't seen them there.

They are definitely around. They have a huge metropolis on dantooine. Use to be in ECU a while back. I was a founding member. We had a town called Calaban on Dantooine, but they have a new city. Well old now. They have quite a few members too. They been trying to get me back for years, but I love RID and all you guys! ^^
