Greetings fellow crafters of the Commercial Company.

In this message, I will explain to you some regulations and guidelines relating to the operations of our mall in Fort Oasis, named the "Last Ditch Mall." It a medium tatooinian home right next to the shuttleport. Because the old one fell victim to the housing purge, a new one was placed and re-decorated by my alternate character, Hel'mut Yovel. For some odd reason, the new placed mall is sunk into a ditch, thus the name, "Last Ditch Mall." Lastly, I want to dedicate this post to Daiho, who wrote the original set of guidelines for the Fort Oasis Mall. This post varies in some ways, but most of the idea are inspired from Daiho's dedication as a former Commercial representative.

TRADERS

Now, I present to you a list of requirements for operating a vendor in our mall, should you choose to do so:

1.) R.I.D Traders have the first choice of what they wish to sell. Non-R.I.D's may operate a vendor in our mall provided that they are Imperial or neutral, but R.I.D Traders have priority.

2.) If a category of what you wish to sell is already taken, we strongly encourage you to pick a different category. We frown upon competition within our own mall. So if someone is already running a well-done weapons vendor, try to resort to selling armor. We can make exceptions in some cases, however.

3.) In the mall will be a cabinet named, "Please Take Anything." Traders who no longer want to sell items or want another Trader to have it may put it here, making it up to grab for other Traders to keep or sell.

4.) If a certain category is not picked up by a R.I.D Trader, then myself, or the Chief Financial Officer/Financial Officer of the Commercial Company may offer the spot to a non-R.I.D Trader.

5.) If a R.I.D non-Trader wishes to sell something in the mall, he needs to contact the Trader who sells those items and make an agreement with him, OR simply offer the item(s) to his vendor.

VENDORS

1.) Vendor must be named like this: R.I.D -- (your product), example: R.I.D -- Vehicles. This will make it much easier to see who sells what and won't interfore with rule #2.

2.) Vendors must wear the R.I.D Recruit Uniform. This will be provided for free.

3.) Dressable humanoid vendors are strongly encouraged. No specific race is required, as long as the species may wear at least most of our R.I.D uniform. Terminal vendors are frowned upon due to the fact that they cannot be dressed, and are very bulky and unappealing. We may make acceptions for the temporary use of these vendors.

4.) Vendors must be restocked weekly... minimum, to the best of the merchants abilitiy. If a vendor cannot be restocked by two weeks, it will be considered inactive, and a replacement will be found.

MEETING

Occasionaly, the Commercial Company will assemble for a meeting. The regular subjects will be:

- How can we attract more customers?
- Mall management issues.
- We will also allow Traders to bring up topics, but it will be preferred if they request this prior to the meeting.
- At the end will be a questions period.

If everything goes well, an hour or a less will be enough to discuss the important topics.

Meetings may occur on weekends, usually in the evening, Eastern Time.

SPECIALITY

All Traders in R.I.D should send out to myself, and the Commercial Company representatives, what they'd like to sell. This will make operating our mall as efficient as possible..

Thank you very much!
