Issele im sad to see you leave us in SHBF but this is an excellent group to join!

I for one would be honored to have you among us. It sounds to me like you have quite a history. I think the game needs more events and more people like yourself to plan and run them. I certainly very much enjoyed the Battle on Lok and I'd like to see more interaction between the players and Sony. I hope for all our sakes that we are what you're looking for in a guild. Welcome

Because a) I didn't make the banner b) I support RID in anything they do

First of all Leviathen if your not in RID then why do you have it on your banner.

Oh and I am/was Waucod Meesman but I don't currently play.

by Leviathen »Mon Dec 26, 2005 5:44 pm

Awesome, I only ask because it has become important to me that my guild roleplays at least a little bit.

Just a question, from what you said about your Twi'lek, it sounded like you roleplay a little, how important is roleplaying to you?

I use to be a die-hard role-player. Role-playing is still important to me but I am not as die-hard with it as I use to be. If I am with someone and they are role-playing I will too... if I am with someone who isn't role-playing I respect that and just go into Suzy mode... heh

On behalf of the other forum trolls around here (you know who you are!!! :P ), welome to the RID forums. I don't play SWG anymore, but I pratically live here. I'm also one of the friendly mods around here.

And please post as often as you like, we're always loking for new posters around here.

It's good to have you aboard!!! :D

Nice to hear from you Issele. We certainly have a lot of events in store for you, but we can talk about that personally later. In the meantime I can interview you in-game for recruitment, and clear up any questions you may have.

Hello RID

by Issele »Sun Dec 25, 2005 9:18 pm

Hello. Thank you for allowing me access to the RID forums. For those who do not know me, allow me to introduce myself. My character name is Issele. I play an Imperial Colonel female Twi’lek. I have played SWG for 3 years. My first PA was DS our PA leader was Deft. I stayed in DS until it was disbanded and Deft went rebel. Those left in DS turned it into NOVA. I stayed in NOVA until it too began to fold. DS and NOVA are no more.

I then began to look for a stable PA to join. I joined TIO, which split apart three weeks later. I did not know of the inter-guild conflict that was going on when I joined nor was I made aware till about a week later. I did all I could to retain the friendships I had made, on both sides. To this day I have kept those friendships.

I went with SHBF and had planned to stay with SHBF. I left SHBF when 80% of the 90+ members left for WoW. I had decided to stay in SW: G, thus I wanted a PA that had active members in the game I played. I posted a fair well :( on the SHBF boards and wished everyone well. I was one of the six council members of SHBF and was in charge of events as well as the Community Diplomat IC and OOC. I am not a guild hopper and only seek to find an active, Imperial, PA that I can be a part of.

My character I play in SWG is a die-hard Imperial. Since she is a Twi’lek and I do the events, I cover the alien issue by saying that the Empire uses her to set these up because the Rebellion would never suspect that the Emperor would do so, as a means to cover this issue in the game. In 99% of the events I put together I stay out of the limelight and just coordinate the event. My goal is to always do my best to offer fun to those who attend. My payoff for the work I put into these events is when I see the community having fun. It is not for personal gain and I shy away from being on center stage.

I work with the SWG Event Team in bringing events to Starsider. I have earned a reputation with SOE where they know I never abuse their willingness to work with me to bring the Star Wars elite characters to life in the game. I have created events with: Emperor, Veers, Luke, Vader, and Thrawn, to date. Some of the events I have created have been:

1. Imperial Ball
2. Imperial Conferences (4 total)
3. Imperial Battle on Lok (The last event I did) : http://www.ostium.net/gallery/main.php? ... _itemId=92
4. Emperor’s Address to the Galaxies (4 times total)

Currently I am working on The Siege of Anchorhead and uniting the Empire. There is a post on Starsider boards about the current project to assist in reforming the Empire.

I also am a Gaming Journalist and current am the SWG Stratics Managing Editor.

I would like to meet you all and have you get to know me. Currently I am seeking to join RID and have sent an application to Lexx. I want to join an active Imperial Unit that plans to stay in SWG until the game is no more. I have worked with Lexx and Cerex as part of the Imperial Network and have a deep respect for what you all have built in SWG.

I will answer any questions honestly and openly. Anyone is welcome to contact any Imperial PA on the server to ask about my reputation and me. I am a role-player but I also sometimes hang with non-role-players, so you may see me IC and OOC while I am playing SWG. But when I am role-playing I stay IC. In real-life I am a female my name is Suzy.

Issele
