Thats absoulutely correct, but people are getting the wrong idea that if your under 18 it's impossible to get into RID. For the first few weeks they are merely watched over as a sponsored person, and perhaps welcomed to events. Once it's seen that they qualify, they can get accepted. As for as 18+ year olds, they dont need to be watched over before being recruited (we would, but as far as time efficiency goes, it cant be done).
Instead, Leviathen gave me a very nice idea. He said once a new recruit fills out an application, I first look over it thoroughly. If it checks out, I post it on the RID Discussion boards. If it doesn't check out, I decline the recruit and perhaps direct him to some other recommended guilds.
Assuming I like the application and post it on the RID Discussion board, all RID's can look over it and can select a vote for him on top of the post. "Accept" the member or "decline." The poll lasts 1 day, and if he gets more "accept" votes than "decline" votes, hes allowed into RID, same goes for vise-versa. When he/she is accepted into RID, the application is then moved to the Personal Databank boards for reference when needed.
