Dosen't it just figure that I run into some pretty major computer/SWG issues the night of the MEK party and hunt?!
(The hunt I was supposed to lead?!)
Gah, friday was not so good for me either!!

Good to have more communications open again! I've also seen little bits about those capture the flag items- and that does sound pretty cool, eh? With Nar Shadda and MEKsico City being so close to each other.... wow, quite a few possibilities!

So we'll put some PvP/Wargames "on the radar". Sounds like each of our guilds could use some more time before being ready for major wargames, so we'll keep is as a "near future" item. I'm sure we can find some time in the not-too-distant-future when we're all good to go and ready for action.

Kurke- best of luck getting everything placed, and let me know if there's anything MEK can do to help!

Also, do keep in mind that anyone from RID/DM is more than welcome to use any facilities in MEKsico City- or just wander through looking for people to group with or just hang out with!

Final bit of info- I've been playing more lately on my alt, Foolmik (no, not jedi =)). So if anyone is looking for me online, check for foolmik too.

Cheers! and we'll be in touch!

Sounds like fun Tuco.
I'd definently like some wargames! Soon we will have some bases down which should add some interesting obstacles in shadda. Like Kurke said visit our forums at www.dm.cjb.net sometime.

hey tuco,
great to hear fom you again. your intuition servers you well. RID and DM are in fact allies. I luv the idea of capture the guildhall. i remember some fun battles with MEK. If you havent heard, theres some new items coming out soon(er or later) for events, in particular- flags that can be used for a capture the flag type battle. if and when they come out we GOTTA try those badboys out. sry i couldnt make the party, had to work late.

Greetings Tuco!!!

I am the mayor of Nar Shadda (and co-leader of DM) and I have been meaning to ask MEK about having some friendly war games or other types of events. I used to be a member of RID and that's how I know of the friendly relationship RID and MEK have. Unfortunately, I've been a bit busy getting DM and Nar Shadda all up and running. Thankfully, everything is running pretty good now and we have a good number of combatants in DM who would love to have a friendly event.

I know that with your city only one kilometer away, our guilds can have some extreme fun. Of course there is only one request I have before we setup any PvP events. Let me get our Clone Center placed. My architect is slowly working on it and should have it placed relatively soon. This way if we die we don't have to clone all the way in MO or another city far far away.

I and all of DM look forward to having some fun events between the guilds!!! :D

Btw, if you are interested in checking out the DM forums, they can be found at http://dm.cjb.net

Hey Tuco. I will let some RID's and DM's hear of this event. Surely a good number will attend (except I can't make it tonight I'm afraid). With the new base upgrades, etc (and even a capture the flag game coming up), we'd happily perform more controlled PvP events.

Lexx, I have a confession to make... contrary to certain regulations, I have of late been carrying my weapons within the boundaries of Fort Oasis!

<MEK>Tuco-the-Ugly here... So how goes it, RID?! Although... having spoken to Lexx a couple times sorta-recently- I'm pretty sure things are going very well!

I've got a couple things, an observation and an idea, both of which are kinda connected.

So my inquisitive nature  recently picked up an alliance between RID and a guild by the name of DM. Well- so I'm tolling around dantooine recently, levelling up my alt in rifles, and I noticed something... Driving through Nar Shadda, I noticed the DM guild hall and a couple houses with RID on their markings.
What's the significance, you ask? Nar Shadda... just happens to be less than 1000meters from MEK's capital city, MEKsico City!!

So my first thought there... wow, we've got some cool neighbors! Could be some possibilities there for business and whatnot.
And in that spirit- tonight, Friday the 18th starting at 9pm Eastern- MEK is having one of our weekly parties in the Cabo Wabo cantina right by the shuttleport in MEKsico City!! Our entertainers will be out in force, and a whole bunch of us will be there messin around, partying, and so on. (non-faction, semi-RP event type of thing)
RIDers and DMers would be more than welcome to drop by! Consider this your invitation!
Due to scheduling, this is the first one of these parties Tuco will actually be able to attend, and damn I'm psyched!

OK.. on to my second thought. We've had some wargames in the past that went of very well.. and, well, there are a decent number of MEKers who are kinda itching for some PvP again.
And MEK and DM (and thus RID) now just happen to have cities right next to each other! See where I'm going with this?!
Talk about a perfect oppurtunity!
"Capture the Hall" comes to mind- MEK vs. RID/DM. Objective= occupy the "enemy's" city hall for 5 minutes.

Not talking necessarily about this weekend- but would RID and allies be interested in some damn friendly and damn fun wargames sometime soon?

Talk it over, think about it and such... feel free to pop on over to mekclan.net/swg and hit up our forums (and I'll check back here and hit ya'll up in game).

And hopefully see some of you folks tonight at the Cabo Wabo party!
