I was told about this post last nite ingame by a leader of RS. He wanted to make sure we knew that it was not one thier guild members making this post. He did say that he would not be opposed to a guild war with RID sometime in the future but thier guild is busy at the moment with other things. I can certainly understand this, we've been thru it before. His main point (and he stressed this several times) was that he and RS were not looking to start any drama between our guilds. Guild wars or pvp is one thing but drama is something that his guild does not support. I thanked him for brining this matter to my attention (he asked to speak to aleader of RID and I was the only one on at the time).
To RID members:
If you see something like this on the forums or even in game here's what you should do.
1. Get evidence - screenshots are your best friend here, forum posts on the SS (or other) boards do get removed sometimes.
2. Pass your information on to a leader of RID. In game mail is probably the best place to do this but posting in our Private forums here is ok.
3. DO NOT RESPOND IN ANY WAY, SHAPE OR FORM. I cannot stress this one enough. I think people try to bait us into drama sometimes. I know every once in awhile I will try to push someones buttons just to get a reaction out of them and it's usually pretty easy to do. If you do not react you difuse the situation right then and there. Remember our beloved game has a wonderful little feature called "ignore", use it.
I am so sick of the petty little sophmoric drama that our guild seems to constantly get dragged into. If other players or guilds want to play the drama game, we have no control over that. We can control our own actions however, and I expect more than that from those who wear the RID tag.
